Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid will today night clash with Arsenal in the Europa League second leg semi-final tie at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

Striker, Diego Costa should be available for the second leg after returning to action against Deportivo La Coruna over the weekend.

Defender, Filipe Luis has recovered from a broken leg, while Sime Vrsaljko will miss out after seeing red in the first leg. Juanfran is also out of action.

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal are looking to win the continental competition to provide them with major silverware, a route into the Champions League.

The Gunners beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 the last time both clubs met during an Emirates Cup clash in 2009.

The North London club heads into this clash after their 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

Wenger’s men are currently occupying the sixth position in the Premier League table with 57 points from 35 games.

Midfielder, Mohamed Elneny is out and so is Santi Cazorla, but both players are still a few weeks away from playing.

David Ospina, Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have all been training ahead of the game and all three could be in contention to start.

Forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is ineligible to play for the Gunners in this competition.
