Mikel Arteta was quick to laud his former boss, Pep Guardiola after winning his first trophy as a manager.
Arteta spent three years at Manchester City learning under Pep Guardiola as an assistant manager, and now, he has won the FA Cup as a player and as a coach in his first try in the dugout. Arsenal would hope to capitalize on this feat next season, in a bid to win more trophies.
“He has been a key figure in my development as a coach, He has my gratitude. I wouldn’t be sitting here today without him. I have to thank him big time” Arteta wrote on Arsenal’s website.
