Aubameyang Gun down Newscastle away from home.

Arsenal got off the season with a positive result when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang marked his 50th Premier League appearance with an all important winning goal against Newscastle.

Newcastle are coached by Steve Bruce who made few changes to the first team with the likes of debutants, Joelinton and Allan Saint-Maximin getting playing time.

And for Emery, the performances of young Gunners Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles were encouraging for Emery, who will have been relieved to see his defence widely considered his side’s major weakness enjoy a largely comfortable afternoon.

Arsenal would hope to continue in this stead of grabbing three points in a bid to compete for the big prize at the end of May as this title has eluded the team since winning it last in 2003/2004 EPL season.
