Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky has explained in a lengthy post on his Instagram page, why he chose to change his gender.
The popular male barbie said he opted for a change of gender, because he knows that he would do better as a woman.
And speaking about why he chose the name “Bobrisky”, he said the name was birthed from the risks he faced going under several knives, and still living to be a woman today.
In December 2020, Bobrisky visited Doctor Philip in Colombia, where he did a major surgery on his sex organs, which was estimated at around $300,000.
The Ogun state indigene, who grew up in Lagos is not the first trans person to come from Nigeria, as Miss Sahhara, who represented Nigeria in the 2011 Miss International Queen beauty pageant admitted publicly to be a trans woman.
