Spanish Giants, Barcelona, have set sights on another Arsenal Captain, Pierre Emerick Aubumeyang. but on a temporary basis, according to the Club website.
The move was triggered by a recent injury to Luiz Suarez, and the club has moved quickly in a bid to get a temporary replacement for the Striker who has held his position since joining from Liverpool.
The Arsenal captain, who is now into the final 18 months of his contract in north London is keen to win trophies (according to him), but has refused to be drawn in questions regarding his future at the Club.
The Gabonese is now being viewed as a priority before the end of the January transfer window, but it is left to see if the North London side would allow their Captain leave.
Aubumeyang is currently serving a three match ban in the Premier league, after picking up a red card in the game against Crystal Palace, where he got a goal, before being sent off.
