CAF Awards : Oshoala Reclaims Lost Crown

Asisat Oshoala won her fourth African Women’s Player of the Year crown in style last night, after she egded out South Africa’s Super Player, Thembi Kgatlana and Cameroon’s Ajara Nchout.

The Nigerian lost the Crown last year to Thembi Kgatlana, but was announced as the winner, despite scoring just 2 goals in last year’s Women FIFA World Cup in France.

It was the fourth time the Ikorodu born player would be named Africa’s best women’s player, and has now equalled compatriot, Perpetua Nkwocha.

The Falcons Captain would hope to continue in her stead of turning out impressive performances for both Club and Country.
