Covid-19: Kogi gets first case as NCDC confirms 389 new cases in Nigeria

Kogi state has recorded it’s first case of Covid-19 as the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms 389 new cases in 22 states.

This was contained in a tweet by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC).  The tweet also revealed that Nigeria now has 8733 confirmed cases with 2501 recovered and discharged, and 254 deaths recorded.

This brings the total number of states in Nigeria with Covid-19 cases to 35, excluding only Cross River State which is yet to record a case. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has also recorded cases of the virus.
