245 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Nigeria according to a report by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control, placing the countries toll to 7261.
The NCDC tweeted that of the 245 new cases, 131 were recorded in Lagos, 16 in Jigawa, 13 in Ogun 12 in Borno, 9 each in Kaduna, Oyo, Rivers, and Ebonyi, 8 in Kano, 7 in Kwara, 5 in Katsina, 3 each in Akwa Ibom and Sokoto, 2 each in Bauchi and Yobe, and 1 each in Anambra, Gombe, Niger, Ondo, Plateau, FCT and Bayelsa.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria to 7261, with 2007 discharged and 221 deaths recorded.
Currently, 33 out of the 36 states in Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja have cases of Covid-19 except Imo who has discharged all 7 cases it previously recorded, and Cross River Kogi States who have not recorded any cases yet.
