A female evangelist at the Agape Evangelical Ministry at Obikabia Junction in Obingwa LGA, Abia State was found dead in a hotel room.
It was alleged that the mother of five children had a sex romp with the General Overseer of her church, and a report has since been made to the Isiala Ngwa Police Division.
Sources working at the hotel said, when they noticed her body, she was lying naked with foam coming out of her mouth and nose, while her lover was nowhere to be found.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the state, Chinaka Maureen has made a statement to this effect, “We hereby inform the public that immediate preliminary investigations have been launched into this matter. The deceased’s body has been transported from the location and is currently at the SDA Mortuary in Aba, awaiting an autopsy examination”.
An autopsy report will be made public after the doctors are done with examining her body, as they aim to ascertain the real cause of her death.
The deceased is said to be a native of Umuatakawom in Obingwa local government area, and her husband was said to be away from the state, at his workplace in Bayelsa State when the incident happened.
