He’s a very good coach, I like him – Former Super Eagles Player wants NFF to keep Rohr

John Utaka is confident Gernot Rohr can take the Eagles team to the next level where it is meant to be, after seeing how well the German has improved the team since taking charge in 2015.

The Super Eagles finished Third in the last Afcon hosted by Egypt, and held this year in June* and the team is yet to lose a game ever since, either in the friendlies or qualifiers.

“Gernot Rohr? I think he is a good coach and he has proven it,” Utaka said.

“Nigeria just had a good AFCON (3rd place) and there are good results in friendly matches, like against Brazil. He is a very good coach, I like him”.

“If Samuel Kalu can be regular under his (Rohr) orders? In football, everything is possible, and it also depends on what the coach puts in place . But with work everything is possible and work is what pays in the end,” he concluded.
