Humblesmith’s “Osinachi” album is an amazing fusion of Bongo and Ogene sounds from the East

On June 22, 2018, Humblesmith released his debut album entitled “Osinachi”.

The album contains 22 songs with features from Davido, Olamide, Phyno, Flavour, Tiwa Savage, Rudeboy of Psquare, Patoranking, Harrysong, Umar Shareef and Nura M Inuwa.

The album tells a story of love, lust, life struggles and survival while also conveying messages of hope and good living.

“Osinachi’ album is hugely influenced by bongo and ogene sounds from SouthEast Nigeria apart from a few tracks like “Shakara” which has influences from Fela Kuti’s Afrobeat sound, “Sugar”, “Makossa”, and “Yanrinya” which are slightly differrent from the norm.

“Attracta” which got spices from Tiwa Savage, “Arabanko”, “Shakara”, “Jukwese”, “Osinachi Reloaded’, and “Sugar” stands out.

Songs like “Arabanko”, “Be There”, “Jehovah”, “Onyeoma”, “Sunny” are songs produced from already existing songs. One thing Humblesmith should work on is his originality.

Apart from that, he showed a lot of bravery and courage with this body of work having brought eight(8) A-list artistes to feature on a debut album.
