A test flight with two passengers onboard, crashed in the Ikeja area of Lagos State on Monday, and investigations are already on by the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB).
A Jabiru J430, light single airplane, with Nationality and Registration Marks 5N-CCQ operated by Air First Hospitality & Tours, was caught on CCTV, crashing around Oba Akran area, as it caught fire, but the spread was contained by the rainfall.
The Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, NSIB, Tunji Oketunbi, says the agency had commenced investigation into the accident.
No life was lost, and the two persons(name withheld) were rescued with varying degrees of injury.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was at the scene of the accident, and he told the residents of the Ikeja to stay calm, in order to help the police and other agencies hasten their investigations on the cause of the crash.
