Imo based rapper, Acharaman, took to the streets in solidarity with the ongoing protests going across the nation to protest against the bad roads in Imo state.

“The Conversation” series video music maker in a post he put out on his social media handles today said he stood all day alone along MCC Road Owerri with a placard that read “Acharaman is saying, our dear governor please fix MCC Road and other bad roads in Owerri. The people are really suffering. #EndbadroadsinOwerri”.

The determined rapper also stated that he’ll be there again tomorrow to continue his protest.

See his post below:

“Today I spent my whole day standing under the sun and the rain for about 7hrs at mcc road by house of freeda, without food and water.

On what I call one man single protest begging our dear governor His excellency Sen, Hope Uzodimma to please come and help us and fix mcc road to Toronto, and other bad roads in Owerri.

The people living within this area are really going through hell on a daily. I want the best for my people that’s why am making this sacrifice now. I will also continue tomorrow morning from 7pm till 7pm.

It’s time we start speaking up on those things that are really bothering us as people.

#EndBadRoadsInOwerri ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿”
