A Canadian based Nigerian man has mocked the Nigerian government after receiving $2290 palliative from Canadian government.

He made this known via Twitter revealing that he received a deposit of $2000 and an additional $290 as support from the Canadian government in this period of Coronavirus pandemic. He stated that all the Nigerian government could do for it’s citizens abroad was tell them to come back home without flight ticket support or any other support.

He wrote,

‘Few days ago, we received a deposit of $2,000 from d Govt of Can , today we got another cheque of $290 as support. Meanwhile, all Nigerian Govt could say was come back home and I will bear d flight cost. Home ain’t where u were born. Home is where d leaders care abt u.’
