Nigeria’s Osimhen is the best African Player in France

Super Eagles Striker, Victor Osimhen has been announced as the winner of the 2020 Marc-Vivien Foe prize.

This Award is given to the Player who is nominated as the best African Player in the French Ligue One, and the Inform Lille’s goal poacher won the prize ahead of the likes of Moses Simon (Nantes), Saint-Etienne’s Denis Bouanga, Montpellier’s Andy Delort, Monaco’s Islam Slimani plus Rennes’ trio of Mbaye Niang, Hamari Traore and Edouard Mendy. Lots of English Clubs are already trying to bring in the 21 year old, with the likes of Tottenham and Barcelona eagerly looking for a long term replacement for their ageing strikers.

Tottenham Hotspur wants Osimhen to replace Harry Kane who is over thirty years of age, and Barcelona wants same for Suarez too.
