Englishman, Declan Rice has joined Arsenal from West Ham for a club record fee of £105M, as Nigerian’s Odumodublvck was the center of attraction, after one of his hit tracks was used in the unveiling.
Arsenal shared a video on Twitter, of the 24
year-old displaying his football skills with Odumodublvck’s song ‘Declan Rice’ playing in the background with the caption; “A new chapter begins.”
The rapper recorded the song in March, as a tribute to the football player, and this as intensified their friendship, as Odumodublvck has revealed that Declan Rice told him that, he would be in Nigeria if just for two days in order to share the stage with him.
Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as, Odumodublvck is an indigene of Enugu State in Nigeria, but he was born in Lagos, and left for Abuja with his family at the age of 17.
The graduate of Mass Communications at the University of Lagos is a member of the hip-hop collective, known as the Anti World Gangstars, where he joined in 2022, after he signed a record deal with NATIVE Records in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.
