Rangers wins title to cap a fine season in the Scottish premier league.
Stephen Gerrard has helped Rangers to a first Scottish title in ten years following Celtic’s 0-0 draw against Dundee United at Tannadice today. This win makes it thier 55th Scottish top-flight title. The success comes at the end of Gerrard’s third season at the club and he dedicates it to the fans. They scored 77 goals, conceded nine and kept 24 clean sheets so far.
“During a pandemic, you think maybe it wouldn’t be like it was today. But what you saw today is 10 years of what these supporters have been through. I’m delighted for them and really proud of the players’ efforts because they have been outstanding. From a league point of view, they have been close to perfect” Gerrand said.
