Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema was seen posing with Rwandan President, Paul Kagame at the presidential palace in Kigali.
The viral pictures and videos were taken yesterday, after Rema attended the 2023 Trace Music Awards in Kigali on Saturday, where he won two awards on the night.
“To be honest, this is the first president I have ever met in my life. He is the first. I have not even met my own president,” he said.

Rema rose to fame in 2019, after the release of his hit single, “Dumebi” which was so popular amongst the youths, as his talent has attracted lots of international acts, since his emergence into the industry.
He attended his primary and secondary school education at Ighile Group of Schools in Edo State, as he grew up singing and rapping with his pairs.
