Rush Hour : Rodgers resist temptation to rush Ndidi back to action

Brendan Rodgers says he won’t be tempted to rush his effective midfielder back to action.

The Nigerian international has been out of action for two months, though he used in the FA Cup.

But, the Leicester City boss says the player needs time to recuperate.

“Wilf Ndidi has been training so well,we would see how he responds to treatment in the coming weeks.

“But if he’s not right for this week we’ll look for next week, which is good news for us. We have to be cautious. We don’t want to lose him again”.

“When he came back it was deemed he was fit and he felt good, but he had a slight reaction, so we just wanted to be sure he was right”.
