Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Symply Tacha, has called out the organizers of the biggest Nigerian music award show, Headies for hosting the award in the United States of America for two years in a row.
She made this statement today, while posting a video on her social media page, where she called the decision a “slave mentality.”
Comments have rolled in, as few Nigerians agree with her point of view, especially when she asked, if there was ever a time, that the Grammy’s nor the BET was hosted in Africa, talk less of Nigeria.
The first edition of The Headies was held at the Muson Center in Onikan, Lagos State, which was graced by the likes of Asa, Overdose, Wande Coal amongst others.
Symply Tacha is a media personality with Cool FM in Lagos, and she is also an Entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as she started her charity foundation in 2020, in a bid to save “the underprivileged” in the country.
