Popular On Air Personality, Toke Makinwa has taken time to advise young Nigerian women, during an episode of a show, ‘Gold room’ hosted by Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo.
She admonished ladies to stop bringing insults on themselves, as she reinstated that it is wrong for ladies to ask men to buy what they can not buy for themselves.
“As a woman, you’re living in Mushin, and you’re putting pressure on a guy to buy you a house in Banana Island. I’m sorry. Make it make sense. Can you buy it? Can you even move yourself out of where you are small”, she said.
The Television host and vlogger, who is a host on The Morning Drive show on Rhythm 93.7 FM, is married to Maje Ayida, her long time boyfriend before they got married on the 15th of January 2014.
Her childhood was a sad one, as she lost her parents to a fire accident when she was eight years old, and she is a graduate of the University of Lagos with a degree in English and Literature.
