Popular Nigerian Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh, who is now a politician has left her party, African Democratic Congress (ADC), for the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
No reason was given by her team, but rumours has it that there has been unresolved issues in the party since the last general election.
In March this year, ADC suspended its Governorship candidate in Rivers State, Tonte Ibraye and his running mate, Tonto Dike, following alleged anti-party activities.
The actress, singer, songwriter, and humanitarian joined politics last year, and the reason she gave was because the Nigerian youth need someone to represent them in government.
She started acting in 2005, after appearing on a reality television program, “The Next Movie Star”, where she dazzled her audience with her eloquence and fashion sense.
