UEFA officially suspends Ondrej Kudela for racism

Slavia Prague defender Ondrej Kudela has been provisionally suspended while Uefa investigates allegations of racism in the Europa League game against Rangers.

Rangers midfielder, Kamara was alleged to be racially abused by Kudela during Slavia’s 2-0 Europa League win at Ibrox on 18 March which was later denied by the 34 year old Czech Republic player and investigations are ongoing to clear the waves.

Kudela will miss Thursday’s quarter-final first-leg Europa league clash against Arsenal. He was expected to be absent for the game in London anyway, owing to an injury sustained against Wales on duty with the Czech Republic.
