Former United player, Robin Van Persie has come out publicly to back under fire Coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after series of bad performances in the league
Manchester United finished sixth on the table and would play in the Europa league next season coupled with a last day league loss at home to relegated Cardiff City hence increasing the pressure on the Manager
But Van Persie believes fortunes would turn around for the better under Ole: “I think it’s the perfect match, it’s just they’re having a bad spell.”
He added: “Back in the day it was normal for a manager to get time. Nowadays if you lose six games, you’re out. Is that the solution?
“Give someone time, especially if it’s a kid from the club.”
Solskjaer was named caretaker manager and United went on a 15-game unbeaten run in domestic competition, including a 100% record in his first few games
