Popular Nigerian Music star, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, mourns his mother, after the news of her death surfaced on the internet last night.
It was gathered that, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away in the middle of the night, at about 1:30 a.m, American time, and the nature of her death is yet to be given.
Wizkid is yet to react publicly to the death of his mother, as it is believed that this news will dent a huge blow on the Afrobeat singer, as she was always seen encouraging her son publicly during his shows.
She is survived by her estranged husband, Alhaji Muniru Olatunji Balogun, and three children, Wizkid, Yetunde Balogun, and Lade Balogun.
Wizkid is a household name that needs no introduction, as the Grammy award winner is known for his craft, as one of the most successful singer and songwriter so far.
