Wozniacki clinch biggest win of her career.

The former No. 1 has made history after recent Victory over Veteran tennis star, Venus Williams in the ongoing WTA Tournament.

The 27 year old was without a major title to her name after battles with doping ban were she was stripped off her Title after testing positive to some ban substances.

The Dane has made two major finals, US Open 2009 and 2014, in a career still short of the big win. On Sunday, she simply ran for it, ball after ball, throwing everything back to come away with a 6-4, 6-4 win in the BNP Paribas WTA Finals, often referred to as the sport’s fifth Slam.

Wozniacki, at the receiving of a momentous comeback by the 37-year-old American, who battled back from 0-5 in the second set, sent a backhand down-the-line on her second match point, and tossed away her racket before throwing up her arms in celebration after an hour and 29 minutes.

“Eight is my lucky number so I was hoping that if I was going to beat her at least once in my career it would be today,” said Wozniacki, who trailed Venus 0-7 in head-to-head clashes coming into the title match.
